These 12 days Uganda Safari takes you to the best safari parks in Uganda; Lake Mburo, Bwindi Impenetrable national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Kibale Primates forest. This Uganda safari starts with a game viewing safari in Lake Mburo National Park and later takes you to Bwindi Gorilla Forest for a gorilla safari, Queen Elizabeth National for a wildlife safari, Kibale Forest for a chimpanzee trek. This safari ends with a tour to the adventure capital of Uganda and a tour of the Kampala Heritage sites. Safari activities include gorilla tracking, game drives, chimp tracking, bird watching, and game viewing.

Day 1: Arrival to Uganda
You will meet our company representative who will transfer you to your hotel in choice. If you arrive in working hours it’s advisable to change the money in order to simplify your activities of the day. Go for a city drive through places like the Uganda museum among others, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Kasubi Tombs check in to you hotel for overnight at excellent services.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park and evening walk – Bigodi swamp
Drive to Kibale NP after breakfast through Mubende road and have a lunch en route to arrive in the afternoon. Go for a late evening walk a long Bigodi swamp to search for variety of bird species like the White-winged Warbler, primates and many more not forgetting the flora. Dinner and night.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Have a cup of tea to go for nature walk in for the extraordinary diversity of primates known in the great lakes region. You will hunt for chimpanzees, watch monkeys swing through the forest while tracking. Retire from the forest walk for lunch at the lodge and then drive off to Queen Elizabeth National Park to pass through the crater lakes region with over 30 crater lakes to be explored- to have a panorama of enticing terrain; dinner and overnight.

Day Four: Game Drive, Launch trip on Kazinga channel
Go for a game drive early in the morning after breakfast to search for animals like Hyenas, Elephants, Hyenas, Hippos, Buffaloes, the Lion and many more. Return from the drive to have late breakfast and lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge. In the afternoon go for a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel to Lake Edward to see animals like buffaloes, elephants, hippos and plenty of birds migrant and resident.  Dinner and overnight.

Day Five: Maramagambo Forest, Kambura gorge and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have breakfast to proceed to Maramagambo forest for a walk to see a number of bats, the rock Pythons and the forest Cobras. Have a lunch picnic in the forest to proceed to the Kyambura gorge. Take a walk in the gorge and along Kyambura River where the game reserve derives its name. This walk rewards you with a view of a great number of primates such as chimpanzees, antelopes, Black and white Colobus monkeys and water birds like the flamingos. You can then drive to Lake Bunyonyi where you will reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day Six: Boat Ride – Lake Bunyonyi
Have breakfast by 07:30am; then go for a boat ride/nature walk at 08:30am, the exotic bird species, the panorama of the highlands, the lake and its Islands with the volcanoes in the background form a breath taking view (depending on the weather of the day you will be able to see this Virunga Volcanoes at View point).
Visit the punishment Island (This Island is said to have been named so because young girls who gotten pregnant before there marriage age would be taken to this Island, she only rescued by another man who would be looking for a woman to marry), the upside down island, Dr Sharps Islands (The Dr that Treated Leprosy in the whole of East central and Southern African and this place was well know for as an Isolation place for leprosy), Buwama Island ( where the Dr Built the Hospital, a School and a church) you will have a chance to Visit the school to associate with the Children ( There is Both a Primary School and a secondary school, transport here is by canoes for this students, Before Lunch a visit to the visit the Bahezi people, then lunch will be served. Later; freshen up, relax or swim, dinner over night.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Park
Drive off to Bwindi early in the morning to arrive in the afternoon. Have a walk around the communities to interact with the people of the area (its optional). Or you can take a rest in the afternoon at the lodge as you observe the sunset. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla Tracking Bwindi
Go for gorilla tracking in the morning after your breakfast. You will be briefed by the guide at the headquarters about the overall activity. The activity is unpredictable, and therefore difficult to determine the time it takes however, it ranges between 2-9 hours. Depending on the movement of these giants; you will go through hardships but the experience of observing the gorillas interact and feed is awe-inspiring and erases the poor memories of trying to find the gorillas. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & evening game drive
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park with enroute lunch in Mbarara town, and arrive in the evening and go for an evening game drive in search for; Buffaloes, Water buck Topes, and not forgetting the Eland, (the largest of the Antelopes found in Uganda). Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Game drive, boat ride & transfer back to Kampala
Take a cup of tea and go for a game drive in the park to search for hyenas, side stripped jackal, white tailed mongoose, vervet monkeys and olive baboons etc. Return to the lodge for a late break fast and a boat ride on the Lake . Drive to Kampala in the late afternoon to dine and spend the night on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 11: Kampala City Tour
In the morning have breakfast to go for a city ride at 8:00 am. You will visit places like the Bahai temple, check out the best university in the country Makerere , Uganda Museum, the Kasubi tombs and many more. The places to check will be your choice to make, depending on many factors like time and money.Bed and Breakfast basis only.

Day 12: Airport transfer.
You will be collected from your hotel to be transferred to the airport to catch the flight back home.

The Safari Cost Excludes:
