Day1: Arrival to Entebbe International Airport
Your will arrive to Entebbe international Airport and a tour guide from Abeam Safaris will meet you and transfer you to your Hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala depending on your option for overnight.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After morning breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls national park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino to search for Rhinos. Will proceed to stop in Masindi for lunch, and the afternoon will involve visiting the top of Murchison Falls, then continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Game Drive and boat cruise
In the morning, have your breakfast, proceed to take your time while searching for game in the early risers, the animals to sear are the ‘big four’ that include lions, leopard, elephants, and buffaloes. Return for relax, then lunch. In the afternoon will involve taking a boat ride to the bottom of the falls. The cruise will enable you see many animals and birds on close range, a return will be relaxing, swimming at the lodges pool if you need it again, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale national park
Today is and exciting drive along the Albertine Rift Valley and from Murchison Falls to either Fort Portal or kibale forest on the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon: (-Murchison falls NP – Kibale Forest. (Fortportal town) 379km, drive time 8hrs without stopovers) after breakfast drive from Savanah surroundings of Murchison falls National park, before arriving the park Kibale forest or Fort portal heading North-west via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Arrive to your hotel to checking then, dinner and overnight.
Day 5:Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park
Early morning at 07:15am (if you are to stay in Fort portal town then breakfast is at 06:00am) you will have breakfast then leave to Kibale forest National Park headquarters for briefing before you enter in this beautiful forest for chimpanzee tracking including other primates like the L’hoestes, Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed monkey and grey cheeked Mangabey swinging through the dense forest and several bird species, butterflies and many small insects, can be seen before you return back for lunch. An opportunity to reach Biggodi for a swamp walk the area is run by the community as away to preserve and save animals in the Kibale forest, you shall then return for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National park
After breakfast in morning, your guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth national park, That has the highest concentration of wildlife doubled with its beauty on the Mweya peninsula that make honeymooners appreciate the beautiful nature here. Arrive for a welcome drink then lunch and relaxing here this afternoon, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Game Drive and A boat ride on Kazinga Channel
Early at 6:00am, your guide will take you for a game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth NP, with thousands of Ugandan Kobs, lions, elephants Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena and many more. Also on the programme is a two hours launch trip at 2:00PM after you lunch on the Kazinga channel where you will see all the animals from the waterside. In the evening we will go on a late evening game drive to the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. The day ends back at Mweya peninsula, enjoying a great view of the park.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Gorilla Park
This day you will transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha sector after breakfast to look out for tree climbing lions and a lunch break at Savannah Resort or you could have a packed lunch; later arrive to Bwindi Forest National park with its green color that shall welcome you here. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Honeymooning withMountain gorilla trekking activity
Incase you need a wake up call for this day then you need to inform the hotel attendants, at 07:15 you shall be served with breakfast and your guide will lead you where you shall be registered to verify the information on your passports before the briefing time, then proceed to the ground to get the briefed at 8.00am before entry to the forest for gorilla trekking adventure depending on which you group your permit is. In the afternoon if you are are still strong enough and depending on the weather, there will be guided village walk to learn how the communities around the Bwindi National Park are benefiting from the tourism of the area; this is an ideal short walk that will bring you back to your hotel of choice for dinner and overnight later.
Day 10: from Bwindi National Park to Kampala
This day will mark the end of long Hooney moon tour in the country side of Uagda it then time to return back to Kampala for your transfer to catch your flight back to your home.
