Day 1: Cultural Visit & Entertainment at Ndere Center
You will be Picked up from the Airport to your Hotel / Lodge and then Transfer to the great cultural site to be refreshed from the long journey. During the activity expect to experience an exciting entertainment welcome from Ndere Centre in Kampala which will make you fall in love with the African Culture. See how amazingly the dancers wiggle their bodies to the lovely beats of the traditional instruments. Dinner and overnight at Sheraton hotel / Cassia lodge /Hotel Africana.
Day 2: Kampala City Tour
Have an early Breakfast and then depart for a city tour around cultural sites in Kampala. You will have Lunch enroute at a convenient place in town. Cultural sites include Kasubi tombs where Buganda kings and royals are buried, Kabaka’s Palace and Lake, Naggalabi coronation site, Uganda Museum, Cultural Market, Bahai temple, Namugongo shrines and many other interesting sites. Dinner and overnight at Sheraton hotel / Cassia lodge /Hotel Africana.
Day 3: Leave for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Past breakfast, set off for the long journey to Bwindi National park which is about nine hours drive. You will stopover for Lunch in Mbarara and the proceed to the park, arriving late in the evening Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort/ Buhoma Lodge / Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast, report to the park Headquaters for registration and briefing. Remember to carry packed lunch. Enter the gorilla sanctuary for tracking, pushing your way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movement of the gorillas. If you have the afternoon free, you may decide to take a guided walk on the Munyaga River trail, which is an ideal short walk or take village walk. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma Lodge / Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 5: Return to Kampala
Past breakfast, return to Kampala with great memories of moments spent with the fascinating Uganda culture and the great mountain Gorillas. Have lunch enroute in Mbarara Town.
Dinner and overnight in Kampala or transfer to the Airport for your flight home
